The Millbrook Health Centre is located in Millbrook First Nation. Our Health Centre is dedicated to providing accessible, culturally-safe,and holistic care to community members or Millbrook First Nation
Our Health Centre is staffed by a team of experienced health care professionals, including doctors and specialists, nurse practitioner, nurses, social workers, mental health & addictions counselors, and dietetics. Allied health services are also provided including a chiropractor and pedorthist. We believe in a collaborative approach to health care, and work closely with our leadership and community members to develop plans of care to meet the unique needs of individuals and their families.
We are committed to promoting health and wellness in our community through education, outreach, and community-based programs. We believe that everyone has the right to health, and we strive to make that a reality for all our community members.

SERVICES
The Millbrook Health Centre currently offers the following services:
• Primary care services, including preventative care, health assessments, chronic disease management, prenatal care, mental health, addiction care, gender affirming care, and some acute care services.
• Diabetes care, including regular check-ups, foot care, blood sugar monitoring, and medication management, as well as access to two certified diabetic educators for education and support.
• Dental care services, including cleanings, and oral health education.
• Nutrition services, including consultation with a registered dietitian, individualized meal planning, nutritional education, and addressing food insecurity within the community.
• Mental health and wellness services including counselling, therapy, support groups, and addiction services.
• Navigation to obtain traditional healing services, including cultural practices, ceremonies, and spiritual guidance.
• Health education and outreach programs, including workshops and events on topics such as healthy living, disease prevention, substance use prevention, harm reduction, and traditional healing practices
• Homecare and community health services including home visits, personal care, health assessments, and referrals to other health care providers.
• We also offer to band members access to chiropractic care which includes consultation and treatment, and a pedorthist who manufactures, fits and modifies foot appliances such as orthotics.
